Rare Pleasure: A Tranquil Encounter

With a discography like Mndsgn, you often forget that it's been a whole five years since he's dropped a full-length LP. This comes nothing quite like the last. So, I wouldn't hold any expectations and let the rhythms speak for itself. What's masterful about this illustrious artist is how each project is its own, with no comparisons needed, it would be difficult to do such a thing.
"Rare Pleasure" sends off placid endorphins for your mind, anatomy, and overall existence. This 13 track album dives into the eclectic sounds of soul, jazz, experimental, with a jab of cadences that you can't even put into words. And, let's not forget the harmonious motions of Mndsgn's vocals. As soon as you cross through track 10 - "Medium Rare" you can instantly grasp the genuine intent of freedom from any stressors that you may face.
"Fear is just a comfy queen-sized bed, won't you get up and start your day? give yourself time for the truth, in your heart, stretch the moment into eternity, so you can live forever." (Medium Rare, Mndsgn)
Major shoutout to the contributors to this album; Swarvy on bass and guitar, Kiefer on the keys, drum patterns by Will Logan, Carlos Nino on percussions, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson on strings, with featured divine vocals by Anna Wise and Foushee.
