After the anticipated announcement of Khruangbin's third studio album, Mordechai is finally here. Right away after seconds of entering the first track "First Class" my mind instantly roams into airplane mode, this album is very well calculated when it comes to delivering sereness and tranquility, as well as their traditional rhythms of psychedelic funk. This 10-track LP is optimal for when you want to get away, not just physically, but mentally. Guitarist Mark Speer distributes a mellow and euphonic rhythmic palette alongside Laura Lee's divine vocals and let's not forget Donald Johnson's soulful installations on the drums.
This album in particular is more exciting than the others because of the innovative transitioned route they've taken on by adding more vocals into the mix than the usual tease of minimal choruses.

I wouldn't skip a beat on here, letting the album ride out completely shares a narrative of bliss and euphoria.
